Based in the Middle East, Alberto has over 25 years’ experience partnering with global institutional investors (sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and family offices) on a broad range of topics, including corporate strategy definition, operating model optimization, investment execution, and portfolio value creation.
His recent client work with governments includes developing nationwide sector reform programs for high-growth economies, as well as designing and implementing core financing and performance management functions, including national statistics and planning, treasury, public debt, sovereign balance sheet management, and governance and performance management of state-owned enterprises.
His partnerships with leading financial institutions often include developing business strategies, executing mergers and acquisitions, implementing new organizational and operating models; building new digital businesses, implementing AI across the organization, and optimizing treasury and asset and liability management.
Alberto supports clients in North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and has led McKinsey’s financial services and risk work in various geographies globally.
Prior to working with McKinsey, Alberto worked in advanced motion control and robotics for a leading global aerospace and industrial automation player.
