Based in the Paris Office, Clarisse is a Senior Partner at McKinsey, where she leads the Consumer and Retail practice for Europe, which includes seven sub-sectors: consumer packaged goods, specialty and food distribution, luxury, beauty, fashion, and foodservice. She also works in other sectors, including agriculture, utilities, tech, and private equity.
She supports clients worldwide on issues ranging from strategy to commercial and operational transformations, with a particular focus on change management.
Between 2019 and 2021, she served on our Global Operating Committee in charge of Client Service and as an “Action Officer” to our Board (“Shareholders Council”).
Former Managing Director of McKinsey France from 2021 to 2025, Clarisse is a member of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) council, which publishes research on economic, business, and technology trends. She has coauthored several publications on critical issues, such as plastics, waste, food transition, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the circular economy. In recent years, Clarisse has regularly spoken at local and international forums, including the World Economic Forum in Davos, VivaTechnology and the Rencontres Économiques in Aix-en-Provence.
Clarisse is deeply involved in topics ranging from employment to human capital. She cofounded and chaired Generation France, a nonprofit organization that develops training programs for young people distanced from the labor market and is a partner of the association Les Pilotes aiming to promote social mobility among young people from the suburbs. She is also committed to promoting meritocracy and diversity, having initiated several initiatives supporting gender diversity, origin diversity, and promoting access to higher education for first-generation students.
She previously worked in the Firm’s Boston, New Jersey, and New York offices.
She holds a degree from HEC Paris and a DEA in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
