Jeffrey is a senior expert at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), McKinsey’s business and economics research arm. He also leads MGI’s economics research team, which supports the institute’s research agenda and the development of new client service capabilities. His research focuses on the role of global flows in economic development, macroeconomic and geopolitical scenarios, and public policy evaluation. His insights help organizations navigate complex global trends and disruptions.
A frequent speaker at conferences and industry events, Jeffrey’s work has been cited in leading publications, including Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Cato Institute, and the Economist.
Throughout his career at McKinsey, Jeffrey has served public- and private-sector clients around the world, advising on international trade and investment policies, capital deployment strategies, and economic development initiatives.
Before McKinsey, Jeffrey was an economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He holds a PhD in economics from Georgia State University and a BA in economics and finance from the University of Georgia.
